Economics, Analytics and International Business

Our Economics, Finance and International Business courses combine practical learning and professional development. We study the current conditions and recent changes in the business world and are grateful to be situated in the UK's second largest financial and banking centre, home to the Bank of England's only base outside London. Our subject area has a strong international dimension with students from around the world studying our courses, sharing experiences and different ways of working.

Student Opportunities

We are dedicated to supporting the professional development of our students and offer a guest lecture programme where students and professionals can network and take inspiration from high-profile speakers on a regular basis. Past speakers include the CEO of the London Stock Exchange. Our strong links with industry provide students with a variety of networking and placement opportunities. We encourage as many of our students as possible to take up a placement opportunity with a range of placement providers nationally. We also run an annual competition in conjunction with a local stockbroker where students are allocated a virtual sum of money to invest in the stock market.
