From working on live business projects to work placements, you’ll get the hands-on experience you need to harness your potential as an entrepreneur, consultant, or business manager. Your applied knowledge will give you a competitive edge on the market and you’ll be lending your insights to businesses before you even graduate.

Our courses are all about developing responsible leadership for tomorrow’s global society. You’ll develop key business and management skills and enhance your employment opportunities by exploring pathways you’re passionate about.

your student experience

Knowledge is powerful, but it's what you do with it that matters. Our courses are highly focused around applied learning. So you'll find yourself working on consultancy projects with real businesses in Leeds and beyond.

You'll be solving problems in collaboration with groups such as The Retail Institute, The Leadership Centre, and the Independent Food and Drink Academy. And you'll be learning how to excel in the workplace, with placements at household names such as Lloyds Bank, IBM, Hugo Boss, Audi and Bosch.

"It is a priority for me to engage the students in live projects with real businesses, who deliver lectures, chair discussions with students, set and assess assignments. For example, John Lewis on the second year Visual Merchandising module."
