This recognition highlights LBU's comprehensive tennis offerings, from junior programmes to community coaching and charity partnerships. Collaborating with two charities, LBU has provided coaching and support to various communities, showcasing the university's inclusive approach.

Additionally, the strong Athletic Union Tennis programme, with 12 teams achieving the highest ever BUCS points total, underscores the competitive excellence at LBU.

The university's tennis coach education courses have also seen remarkable progress. The Coach Development Centre (CDC) has improved its rating by nearly 20% in the past year, reflecting the high standards of coach training at LBU. The LTA-funded Regional Performance Development Centre for 10-14-year-olds, operated by CV8, further enriches the university's coaching expertise, and creates numerous opportunities for students.

LBU's impact extends beyond its campus with a substantial deployment of 47 student coaches throughout Leeds and beyond. Known as the gold standard for workforce development in the UK, LBU's comprehensive tennis programme attracts maximal funding and opportunities. This award is not just a reflection of LBU's achievements but also a recognition of the collective effort of all colleagues whose contributions have been invaluable.

Leeds Beckett University truly offers a one-stop shop for all things tennis, setting a benchmark in the field and continuing to inspire future generations of players and coaches.

Congratulations to everyone involved!
