LEEDS SUSTAINABILITY INSTITUTE

We are recognised experts in the science of measuring the real performance of buildings, and one of the UK’s leading interdisciplinary sustainable buildings research team.

The importance of understanding the sustainability of the urban environment has never been so important, as it affects so many issues facing humanity; climate, change, fuel poverty, energy security, air quality, health and wellbeing. At the LSI we are passionate about discovering more sustainable ways to build, use and maintain our buildings and communities,  so that we can influence policy to address these societal challenges and provide a healthier urban environment, zero carbon buildings and more sustainable ways of living.
