Founded in 2013, the Centre for Culture and Humanities is the public face of the research and public engagement work taking place in the School of Cultural Studies & Humanities.

The Centre for Culture and Humanities aims to:

  • Conduct interdisciplinary and collaborative research in culture and the arts
  • Facilitate students and the public to engage with our research in an inclusive and accessible way
  • Conduct research projects with arts and cultural organisations locally and further afield

visiting SCHOLARS

We are delighted to invite scholars from around the world to participate in our Visiting Scholars Programme. We can provide research mentoring, shared office and desk space, and access to local library facilities, which include (as well as Leeds Beckett University library), access to the Brotherton Library (University of Leeds), Leeds City Library, the Leeds Library (the oldest surviving proprietary subscription library in the UK), and the Boston Spa Reading Room of the British Library.
