The Knowledge Exchange – located in the heart of Leeds Business School in our iconic Rose Bowl building in Leeds city centre - is here to welcome you into the university and all that we have to offer. Located in The Rose Bowl, Portland Crescent, our core business hours are Monday – Friday, 10:00 - 16:00.

WHAT IS KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE?

Knowledge Exchange is a two way process where people and organisations exchange information, research, insight and expertise to enhance knowledge and how it is applied to create economic impact and benefit to society.

Meeting rooms

Meet our business support team, academics and students, book a private meeting space, or use one of our open workspaces. All rooms and workspaces are currently free of charge.

  1. The Pod

    Located in the heart of The Knowledge Exchange, this glass rectangular boardroom ‘pod’ accommodates up to 10 people.  Embedded AV includes 65” display, Logitech Rally conferencing system, room PC with wireless keyboard and mouse, and Logitech Swytch Bring your own device (BYOD) connection. (Coming soon - touch panel control.)

  2. Innovation Design Space

    With sofa style seating, the Innovation Design Space accommodates up to eight people. The space includes an embedded 65” touch screen display with stylus pen and inbuilt white boarding app, HDMI and USB wall connection for laptops - USB connection enables touch screen control of your laptop. (Coming soon - wall touch panel control of display.)

  3. Private meeting spaces

    Two private boardroom-style meeting spaces are available for up to six people each. The spaces include an embedded 65” display, Logitech MeetUp All-in-one conferencecam, and Logitech Swytch Bring your own device (BYOD) connection. (Coming soon - touch panel control.)

  4. Informal meeting room

    An informal but private, four-person, meeting space with relaxed seating.

  5. Workspaces which are free to use without booking include:

    • A work café-style space with three tables of three chairs, and a larger table with six chairs
    • A collaborative working table for up to eight people
    • Two smaller pods: for two and four people – the four-person pod includes a 43” display screen, Logitech MeetUp All-in-one conferencecam, Logitech Swytch Bring your own device (BYOD) connection and (coming soon) touch panel control
    • Sofa space for more casual working, complete with laptop tables and integrated power
  6. Meet over a brew

    There is a hot and cold water point available within The Knowledge Exchange – and the R.B. Espresso café and Beckett Kitchen dining hall located in the Rose Bowl, just outside of The Knowledge Exchange.
