Students and staff from the Leeds School of Arts and industry friends attended the Product Design Futures Conference 2019, held at the Faversham bar and event space in Leeds.

Each year, the theme of the conference is our students’ futures as employable graduates. Four speakers - three product designers at different stages of their careers and one product design recruitment specialist, joined us for the day. They each shared their advice on the topic of gaining employment in product design with top tips for our students on preparing for graduation, networking, building an online profile and portfolio preparation. This provided valuable insights for our students and they really enjoyed the event.
