School Dean to lead a review of standards for Higher Education Politics Courses

John Craig is one of two Leeds Beckett academics to be selected by the QAA to lead on defining the principles that underline the nature of study and the academic standards expected of graduates in specific subject areas.

John, Dean of School of Humanities and Social Sciences, who will chair the Subject Benchmark Statement review for Politics and International Relations, said: “Politics is a subject that never stands still. I am very pleased to have been asked to chair this review, so we can ensure that our quality framework continues to support student learning and achievement.”
