Perhaps too often, promises made by tourism destination, attractions, hospitality and other services fail to meet visitor expectations. Or do they?
This conference will consider the views of our speakers taking in good and bad examples that will then inform our follow-on panel debate.
This is an opportunity for destinations, tourism business operators, tourism professionals students and related organisations to seek solutions for this wide-ranging topic.
Speakers have been invited and include:
- Joss Croft OBE - CEO: Unbound
- Richard Bryan - MD: QA Research
- Phill Clark - MD: The Kemosabe Consultancy
- Phil Smith - UK Coach Manager: Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT)
- Dr Peter Robinson - Head of the Centre for Tourism and Hospitality Management, Leeds Beckett University.
The event will be chaired by John Gallery, chairman, Tourism Society Yorkshire. A panel debate will follow the individual presentations. The Yorkshire branch of the Tourism Society organises events throughout the region on a regular basis. Attendance is available to members and non-members.
