GV Cultural Games Fest
Join us for an evening of fun, laughter and friendly competition as we celebrate Global Week with traditional street and childhood games from across the globe!
This interactive session is all about sharing culture through play. We'll be trying out classic games enjoyed in different countries and communities around the world - from fast-paced team challenges to nostalgic playground favourites. You might even discover a new favourite. No experience needed - just bring your energy and curiosity. Come along, make new friends, and experience how games can connect people across cultures.

Cultural Exchange - South East Asia
Join us for a vibrant cultural exchange celebrating the rich traditions, histories and contemporary cultures of Southeast Asia.
This interactive session will create space for students to share stories, customs, languages, fashion, food traditions and lived experiences from across the region. Whether you have personal ties to Southeast Asia or are simply interested in learning more, this is a welcoming opportunity to connect, ask questions and broaden your global perspective. Come along to celebrate cultural diversity, build new friendships, and experience the spirit of Southeast Asia right here on campus.

Global Showcase
Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating culture, creativity and global talent as part of Global Week!
The night will feature a spectacular Cultural Fashion Show, showcasing traditional and contemporary attire from around the world. Following the runway, enjoy a variety of live performances throughout the evening - including music, dance and other cultural expressions that highlight the diversity of our student community. This is a celebration of identity, heritage and global unity - bringing students together through style, sound and performance.

Photowalk - Nature Theme
Recharge, explore, and connect with fellow students on a beautiful spring walk through the beautiful town of Skipton!
Join us for a relaxed nature walk. We'll meet outside Leeds Train Station before heading to Skipton together. Take in the fresh air, enjoy the scenery, and make new friends along the way - a perfect way to unwind and connect with nature!

Kirkstall Abbey Trip
Step back in time and explore the historic beauty of Kirkstall Abbey with fellow students!
We'll take the bus together to Kirkstall Abbey, but please note: attendees need to purchase their own bus tickets. If you prefer, you can also meet us directly at Kirkstall Abbey.
Enjoy the stunning architecture, soak up the history, and spend a relaxing morning with friends. Perfect for a Sunday outing!
