Leeds Beckett University is delighted to welcome Lord John Dyson to launch Leeds Law School’s 2022 Law in Practice guest lecture series.
Raised in Yorkshire, from eastern European Jewish heritage (and still with strong roots in the area), Lord Dyson went to school in Leeds before reading Classics at Oxford’s Wadham College.
In 1968 he was called to the Bar by Middle Temple and enjoyed a very successful career in law before becoming a judge and rising to become the second most important member of the judiciary in the country, the Master of the Rolls in 2012.
Don’t miss your opportunity to hear from one of the leading lawyers of his generation when Lord Dyson will speak about the art of advocacy, his life, justice, and the law.
