Focus group data session: Looking over the data and exploring young masculinities | PsyCen seminar

Lucy Eldred is researching experiences of young masculinities by looking at accounts of both young men and those of other genders to explore the research questions:

• Are young masculinities changing?
• Are young masculinities becoming more open, inclusive or ‘contemporary’?

Lucy would like to invite you to join a data session in which she will present data from one or two of her focus groups to collaboratively explore and establish some initial patterns and points of interest.

The Centre of Psychological Research (PsyCen), within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, supports research projects dedicated to improving psychological wellbeing for different communities in conjunction with a range of external collaborators and funders. 

The centre’s work showcases diverse methodologies, from psychometric and experimental designs to qualitative and critical psychology approaches, to advance knowledge across different branches of psychological science, from social and community psychology to cognitive neuroscience and biological psychology.
