Leeds Beckett University presents this PsyCen seminar with Michelle Renecle discussing mindful organising as a powerful concept that showcases team dynamics needed for organisations to better manage risk and unexpected events. As our world becomes more volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous, learnings from this team concept are being applied in a diversity of industries and sectors such as start-ups, financial services, IT firms as it has shown to be such an effective resource for risk management.
Michelle explains the mindful organising paradigm and firsthand industry research that Psychology Applied to Safety (PASH) team and affiliates have done to advance the research into this potentially powerful concept.
Michelle will discuss previous research findings which showcase mindful organising impact on safety and risk management as well as presenting the latest research which aims to create a measurement tool that robustly evaluates mindful organising in teams.
