PsyCen - Francesca Taylor: What’s the story? Embarking on narrative case study analysis

In this session, we will explore possibilities for analysing rich, multi-modal data (interview transcripts, participant-produced timelines, researcher fieldnotes, photos, videos and Facebook posts) using narrative case study analysis. PhD student Francesca Taylor is about to embark on this journey with data from her own PhD project, which brings together 12-months of longitudinal data from recipients of online sperm donation. She would like to share some initial ideas and pick your brains about how to analyse, manage and re-tell the participants’ complex narratives.
