CPET/POM: A Multidisciplinary approach

Organised by: Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust in partnership with Leeds Beckett University and Carnegie School of Sport

This is an education day to exchange knowledge and experiences from the use of CPET in various contexts (e.g. pre-/post-operative risk assessment, cardiological assessment, sports cardiology use for the prevention of SCD etc.). A live demonstration of a CPET will help those less experienced in its use. Data analysis and interpretation (including the 9-panel plots) will be discussed.

This event is for doctors, physiologists, exercise physiologists, and other professionals involved with or interested in CPET and/or POM. Suitable for all grades and levels of experience incl. postgraduate students.

Drinks and food will be available for purchase on campus during the breaks.

A tour of the Carnegie School of Sport facilities will be given.
