#WECAN Connects: Women in Manufacturing
#WECAN Connects is a quarterly event series brought to you by #WECAN with support from Lloyds Bank Business and Commercial.

Cambridge Dictionary defines the word connections as"the people you know and who can help you".

That's what #WECAN Connects is all about. Connecting you with women, businesses and available support to help you as a woman entrepreneur, woman founder or woman in business.

#WECAN Connects: Women in Manufacturing

At our June edition of #WECAN Connects we will be discussing What can we do to advance gender equality in manufacturing?

Only 15% of manufacturing businesses are owned by women, and women represent only 26% of the manufacturing workforce in this sector. However, research highlights that gender diversity enhances innovation and profitability within manufacturing firms.

We invite women and allies from the manufacturing sector and those who support the sector to join us as we:

  • Hear from women working in manufacturing
  • Find out about support available for the manufacturing sector
  • Connect with others in the industry
