Women entrepreneurs are making remarkable contributions in shaping the economic and social fabric of our communities, often building purpose-led businesses, and solving real world challenges. However, there is still a long way to go, and it is imperative that we recognise the barriers they face and work collectively across industry and society to dismantle them, creating an environment where every aspiring entrepreneur, regardless of gender, can thrive (Elyn Corfield, CEO Lloyds Bank).
Our next #WECAN Driving Change event explores how women entrepreneurs and women led businesses and social enterprises are paving the way in delivering social impact and investment. Women are in a prime position to influence change, by creating and advocating for flexible and transformational workplace cultures which support family and caring responsibilities, extending the ladder down to inspire, empower and develop other women, and creating positive and lasting change in society. The event will explore further changes and positive impacts that can be made, using the research from the #WECAN Programme as an evidence base.
We will also be exploring the latest developments to the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR)
