What makes an effective team and why do some teams not gel?
For a team to be truly effective, its members must unite with the same vision and be motivated to bring that vision to life, but how do you ensure that happens when individuals with different personalities take on different roles?
Session Objectives
During this session we will explore how different roles and personality types can affect the way a team works, specifically looking at the work of Dr Meredith Belbin:
- Reflect on your own team
- Analyse team roles according to Belbin
- Develop tips on how to create a more collaborative team
“When people work in effective combinations they achieve so much more than when they're working alone. But to do that, we need a language, and it needs to be a language which is shared and enables people to communicate with one another." Dr Meredith Belbin
This session is ideal for anyone who is interested in supporting a team to work better together.
