#WECAN Workshop: Looking back to move forward - Reflective practice
#WECAN (Women Empowered through Coaching and Networking) project aims to enhance the resilience and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by building the leadership skills, capabilities and opportunities of women in the Leeds City Region.

Reflective practice helps us to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves allowing us to recognise what we do well.

In this session you will:

  • Reflect on the impact of leadership and management styles and decision-making on organisational success
  • Use models to personally reflect and make informed changes
  • Set our own developmental strategies to enhance personal progression

Speaker

The session will be led by #WECAN Delivery Lead, Kenny Greenough. Kenny is a Senior Lecturer at Edge Hill University where he has worked since 2008. Kenny holds Senior Fellowship status of the Higher Education Academy and is a University Fellow for Teaching and Learning. Kenny has coached within professional level sport and holds a prestigious internationally recognised coaching qualification. His approach is always underpinned in his professional engagement with the real-world coaching industry.

The session will be hosted using MS Teams - a meeting link will be sent to you in advance.

WOMEN EMPOWERED THROUGH COACHING AND NETWORKING

#WECAN - Impact and Growth is a women's business network and strategic development programme. It is designed for women in business who want to grow - in confidence, in capability, in clarity, and in their ability to create impact in their work and personal lives. At the heart of the programme is a 12 month development series delivered by The Leadership Centre - Women Leading With Impact.

It is relevant for women at every stage of their life and career including those who are:

  • Leading teams or projects
  • Running early stage or more established businesses
  • Shaping their career direction
  • Building confidence or exploring what comes next
  • Wanting to develop their potential and might not see themselves as leaders
