Findings from the #WECAN project show that women’s networks are still not as powerful as men’s and we want to change that.
Reflections, development, and practice network
Reflective practice helps us to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and others allowing us to recognise what we do well, how we can apply those skills in other situations and help us to learn from successes and mistakes in the future.
The reflections, development and practice network is an opportunity for you to meet other members of the #WECAN community and to hear different perspectives on similar issues and solutions you may be facing on your leadership journey.
Share your own thoughts and experiences at work and reflect on how to move forward and make change with the support of others including fellow #WECAN participants and the network facilitator, #WECAN delivery lead Kenny Greenough.
As a member of this network you will:
- Learn useful reflective models, methods, and processes
- Understand and develop your own leadership skills, abilities, methods, and practices
- Reflect on your own experiences with the support of others
- Meet fellow #WECAN participants
Sessions
Networks will meet virtually every 6 weeks using MS Teams and you will be sent a link to join in advance.
You only need to sign up via EventBrite once. When you join you will be added to an MS Team where you will be notified of upcoming network sessions, have access to resources to accompany the sessions and be able to continue conversations.
Network Facilitator
This network will be facilitated by #WECAN Delivery Lead, Kenny Greenough. Kenny is a Senior Lecturer at Edge Hill University where he has worked since 2008.
