Overview

This workshop will provide understanding and the differences between team building, team dynamics and team cohesion and the interactions involved to support you and your team.

Session Objectives

During this session you will learn:

• Direct and indirect methods of team building
• The formation of team dynamics, their group development stages and impact on cohesion
• Brief highlight of types of group exercises, their motivations and if they are relevant to the task

Speaker

The session will be led by #WECAN Delivery Lead, Kenny Greenough. Kenny is a Senior Lecturer at Edge Hill University where he has worked since 2008. Kenny holds Senior Fellowship status of the Higher Education Academy and is a University Fellow for Teaching and Learning. Kenny has coached within professional level sport and holds a prestigious internationally recognised coaching qualification. His approach is always underpinned in his professional engagement with the real-world coaching industry.
