Alex Yee MBE

Alex Yee is a British triathlon and long-distance running champion. In 2024, Alex became only the second male athlete to win both the Olympic and World Triathlon titles in the same year. His Olympic career includes two gold medals, one silver, and one bronze. He also claimed double gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and was the inaugural Esport Triathlon World Champion in 2022. Beyond triathlon, Alex was the British 10,000m champion in 2018, and in 2025 he completed his first London Marathon in 2:11:08, finishing 14th overall. Alex was awarded an MBE in 2022 for services to triathlon and an honorary doctorate from Leeds Beckett University in 2025.
