Andy Banks MBE is the former World-Class Performance Coach for British Diving who led Tom Daley to a world title and Olympic bronze medal. In addition to mentoring Daley, Banks was instrumental in the development of Tonia Couch, Sarah Barrow and Brooke Graddon. An integral part of Team GB for three Olympic Games, Banks set up the UK's first full-time professional diving programme in Bradford in 1988, before moving to Plymouth in 1992. Having coached in the UK for more than 30 years, Andy moved to Australia to become one of only four national coaches at Diving Australia, starting in Melbourne before moving to Adelaide.
