Sport Hall of Fame: Terms of Reference
Purpose
The Leeds Beckett University Sport Hall of Fame Committee will consider nominations for induction into the Sport Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame seeks to recognise the achievements of alumni who have significantly contributed to the university’s rich sporting heritage through performance, practice and/or leadership. The committee will also advise on any related matters including the criteria for membership and the induction events.
We are currently working with alumni known to us who meet the criteria for induction into the LBU Sport Hall of Fame. However, we know that there will be achievements of past graduates that we currently are unaware of, so we are developing a nominations process for staff, students and alumni to submit in future years. We expect this to be available in preparation for our 2027 induction year.
