Wilf Paish MBE

Wilf Paish MBE was an athletics coach who worked with Olympians such as Tessa Sanderson, Peter Elliot and Mick Hill. Wilf was the Great Britain athletics team coach from 1964 to 1992 and coached Tessa Sanderson to her javelin gold medal in Los Angeles 1984. A coach of all track and field events, Wilf became Head Olympic Coach for South Africa at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and was awarded an MBE for services to athletics in 2005.
