New conference & event space launching at Cloth Hall Court

The new conference centre opens this summer and will provide 10 rooms across four floors, hosting conferences, meetings and events for up to 300 delegates. Set across the road from the Leeds Railway Station it is well connected to the rest of the UK. Other features will include state-of-the-art AV technology, superfast Wi-Fi and, unusually for a city centre venue, VIP parking on-site.

Well Met, the brand name for our University’s Conference Department, will manage this new facility which will welcome both external clients and university colleagues. Internal clients will have the added benefit of specially discounted non-VATable rates, of up to 38%, for Cloth Hall Court. The Well Met Team can support staff with bidding for and delivering conferences at our University, including details such as setting event ticket prices to generate maximum revenue for the organising school or service.

Well Met also manage and book our University’s teaching spaces and main public areas out-of-term time and on weekends. These spaces are available at a rate that is discounted by 25% on the externally advertised room hire rates. View the conferencing staff pages for more details.
