Mercedes-Benz quality management expert and visiting professor to host student lecture
Professor Joachim Kuhn will talk about his experiences in management and supply chain, when he speaks to Masters of Business Administration (MBA) students on Thursday 25 May.
Course Director BA (Hon) International Business, Stratis Koutsoukos, said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming Professor Kuhn to Leeds Beckett. This is the first of what we hope will be a series of guest lectures for our MBA students.
“Professor Kuhn has had an inspiring, high level career, working with Mercedes-Benz since 1995.
“Prior to his current role, he designed and led the central operational quality support for all foreign plants producing Mercedes-Benz passenger cars for more than a decade.
“He is a prolific academic scholar, as well as a practice-based speaker, with his first degree in Business and Management from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and his doctorate is from the Technical University of Ilmenau. Earlier this year he was appointed as a Visiting Professor of Leeds Business School, here at Leeds Beckett.”
