Leeds Beckett graduate is a top boss

Corecom Consulting is a Leeds-based IT Recruitment Consultancy providing contract and permanent employment to candidates and employers, primarily in Yorkshire.  The team put forward a nomination for Jonathan based on his work ethic and business achievements.

Jonathan, who graduated from Leeds Beckett in 2006 with a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies, said: “It is a privilege for me, to not only be shortlisted for Recruitment Boss of the Year by the Marketing & Digital Recruitment Awards panel, but also to be put forward by my colleagues.  It is rewarding to know that the work I put into Corecom Consulting is respected and appreciated by my employees.”

Jonathan began his career working in a graduate role with IT recruitment company, SThree, which he found through the University’s Job Shop service before founding his own company, Corecom Consulting, in 2008.

Nicola Cooper, Operations Apprentice at Corecom Consulting, added: “We nominated Jonathan as he genuinely cares about the team.  He exercises an informal learning leadership style.  The company Mantra is a fun working learning environment.”

The Marketing and Digital Recruitment Awards were founded in 2010 and recognise recruitment firms that have displayed unparalleled excellence within the marketing, advertising, creative and digital sectors. In 2014, more than 700 companies were invited to enter what are the only recruitment awards dedicated to the marketing and digital sector, with the 2015 awards being set to be even bigger.

The award winners will be announced at an Awards Gala in London on 25 November 2015.
