The Association runs its own book series and has international agreements with strategic communication and public relations associations as well as direct links to key scientific journals in the communication field with dedicated special issues each year.
Professor Tench is currently a Director on the Executive Board and has previously held the position of Head of the Scientific Committee for four years.
Speaking about his recent appointment, Professor Trench said: "I am honoured to be elected President of the European Public Relations Research and Education Association. This is an organisation with a proud and long history of advancing scholarship and education in the strategic communication and public relations discipline. During my presidency I aim to continue supporting the research and scholarly development for our subject as well as investing in and inspiring the next generation of researchers and educators."
