Community invited to support new Rob Burrow MND event
People of all ages can register to complete the MND M1LE - a mile-long route through the Headingley campus. It is accessible for wheelchair users and people pushing prams and pushchairs.
There is also a chance for children and young people to take some athletics, tennis and squash challenges in the Carnegie Junior sports activation zone. The free, fun and friendly environment is the perfect way to introduce your children to the sports - we'll be there from the start of the event at 11am on Saturday (10 May).
The MND M1LE starts at 11am. Runners must book a place for the mile, but there's no need to book the children and junior sports challenges - just turn up and take part.
Leeds Beckett has a proud association with Rob and his family. Rob been awarded an Honorary Graduate in 2021, while Carnegie School of Sport has also been instrumental in supporting Kevin Sinfield in his many challenges raising money and awareness for MND.
Got to the run for all site for more information and to book a place on the MND mile.
