Leeds Beckett academic receives highest accolade for UK dietitians

In granting the award, the BDA credited Louise’s work with transforming the sports nutrition profession. Louise’s work with the BDA has established and raised standards in education and training which directly led to the expansion of endorsed and accredited programmes across higher education.
Louise has applied her knowledge to improve performance and athlete welfare across elite sports, including athletics, football, cricket, cycling and rugby.
As head of subject for Sport and Exercise Nutrition at Leeds Beckett, Louise brings her wealth of teaching and applied experience to nationally renowned courses.
