Bank of England expert to deliver exclusive lecture at Leeds Beckett University
The Economic Prospects Lecture is a cornerstone of the Leeds Business School’s annual business calendar, attracting professionals from across Yorkshire and the North. It provides region-specific interpretation of national and global economic trends, along with insight that local businesses can use to support strategic planning, investment decisions, workforce development and risk management.
Olga Munroe from Leeds Business School, who will be chairing the Q&A session at the event, says, “the expertise offered at this event can give unique insight to Leeds businesses on monetary policy, investment and consumer demand in Leeds and the wider region.
“This lecture is an exceptional opportunity for business leaders, financial directors and economic development professionals to connect, inform strategy and stay ahead in an evolving economic environment.”
The lecture is hosted in partnership with Virgin Money and introduced by John Bullock, Head of Strategic Finance for Yorkshire & North-East, ahead of the Q&A session.
The event takes place on Tuesday 10 February 2026, 08:45 – 10:00 at Rose Bowl, City Campus and online.
