Embracing the future of Journalism at Leeds Met
The public event which is to be held at the University's Rose Bowl, at 5pm on Monday 19 November, will see the former Mail on Sunday reporter and award-winning Editor of the Kent on Sunday, discuss how his company is embracing the variety of ways that consumers access news.
Bernard, the voice of commerce in Yorkshire - who has been at the helm of the YP's business desk since 2008, commented: "The Yorkshire Post is one of Britain's most prestigious newspaper brands and plays a central role in documenting public life in God's Own Country. We are embracing the digital age and deliver award-winning content through a variety of channels.

The hour-long lecture will see Bernard talk about business journalism as well as his views on effective public relations. The session will conclude with an opportunity to ask questions.
During his years at the Mail on Sunday, Bernard worked on numerous successful investigations and reported on stories from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
