History of the European Championships
The European Championships take place every two years, with the last event held in Jicin, Czech Republic in 2016.
In the last two European Championships, Austria have impressed in the Men's tournament, winning back to back titles in 2014 and again in 2016 whilst Switzerland have absolutely dominated the Championships since the tournament's inception in 2003 - having never lost a European Championship in its now 15 year history.
Team United Kingdom will be looking to recapture old glory in the Men's Championships, having won the event once in 2006 whilst the Women's team will be looking to knock the Swiss off of their perch in August's Championships.
Best of luck to our Beckett representatives and Team UK for this August's European Championships
