Evaluating the impact of a series of workshops on changing the culture of coaching among NGBs
Evaluation of a series of workshops that were delivered to different NGBs and aimed to change the culture of sport organisations in relation to wellbeing, equity, diversity and inclusion.
the challenge
The sport coaching workforce presents several challenges in terms of retention in the profession, gender equality, and wellbeing. The aim of the project was to deliver a series of workshops on organisational change to NGBs and to conduct an evaluation of the impact of this work on participants and wider stakeholders.
The Approach
A thorough evaluation of the project impact was conducted combining quantitative and qualitative methods and a final report was produced and submitted to Sports Coach UK.
The Impact
This research had national impact on NGBs and participating organisations. Furthermore, the report allowed Sports Coach UK to understand the impact of the workshop and how it was received across the different NGBs, allowing them to define future actions and plans.
Outputs and recognition
Research report submitted to Sports Coach UK.
