Martina Newton

With over seven years’ experience in Higher Education, Martina brings a strong background in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and high‑quality administrative support to her role as Funding Support Officer. 
Her previous roles at Leeds Beckett University, the University of Leeds, and Leeds Trinity University have given her extensive experience working with academic colleagues, external partners, and complex regulatory frameworks. She has supported research initiatives, coordinated events, contributed to data reporting for HESA and ESFA, and worked closely with academics on knowledge‑exchange activity. Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple projects at different stages, she maintains a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and clear communication.
