Dr Oluwanifise Adeleke is a Lecturer in Law at Leeds Law School. He is committed to research-led teaching and to bringing interdisciplinary, globally informed perspectives into legal education. His doctoral research examined the legal and ethical dimensions of AI weapon systems in armed conflict, developing an operational framework for context-appropriate human judgement and control that supports compliance with international humanitarian law while upholding human dignity and accountability.

His research interests lie broadly within public international law, with particular strengths in the regulation of the use of force, the law of armed conflict, and the legal and ethical challenges posed by emerging technologies.
