Becky is a Course Director for the Post Graduate Taught Courses at Leeds Law School, including the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and the Diploma in Law and the Masters of the Laws of England and Wales (GDL).

Becky is a course director for the postgraduate taught courses at Leeds Law School, including the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and the Diploma in Law and the Masters of the Laws of England and Wales (GDL).

Having obtained her MA from Cambridge, Becky qualified as a solicitor in January 2000. She has worked in international commercial law firms abroad and in London and Leeds, specialising in commercial, insurance and negligence litigation. More recently she was a consultant to various Leeds Law firms and became a part-time lecturer with the Law School in 2016. In 2017 Becky became the School's Pro Bono Manager and oversaw the establishment of the School's Law Clinic at Queen Square and embedded Law Clinic as a module for third year students.

Becky teaches on the LPC and GDL courses, as well as the Commercial Law module on the LLB.
