About

Ryan Horuz is a PhD Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant in Psychology. His research focuses on drug addiction, particularly e-cigarette and cigarette use among young people, using mixed methods to examine socio-ecological risk and protective factors, with an interest in regulation and policy impact.

Ryan obtained his BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Leeds Beckett University in 2022, after which he began his PhD working with Dr Zoe Kolokotroni, Dr Therese Fozard, and Dr Danielle Selby.
