Samantha is a qualified solicitor (non-practising) and lecturer in law at Leeds Law School.

Samantha is a Lecturer at Leeds Law School having joined in September 2025. 

Samantha obtained her degree in Law with Australian Legal Studies at The University of Leeds in 2015. As part of her degree, she spent a year studying at the Australian National University in Canberra.  On graduation, Samantha went on to work for a large law firm in Leeds as a Paralegal, working in Personal Injury. She subsequently secured a Training Contract at the firm and studied her LPC and LLM part-time whilst working full-time: qualifying as a Solicitor in 2021. Samantha specialised in complex personal injury claims, offering support to those who had been injured due to the negligence of third parties. 

In her teaching role, Samantha is passionate about utilising skills and knowledge obtained in practice to enhance the student experience and to provide insight into the profession. Samantha teaches at both undergraduate and post-graduate level.
