Sarah is a senior lecturer in business strategy at Leeds Beckett University, Business School. Her teaching portfolio spans undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with particular expertise in strategic management, business operations, and project management.

Sarah is a senior lecturer in business strategy at Leeds Beckett University, Business School. Her teaching portfolio spans undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with particular expertise in strategic management, business operations, and project management.

With a professional background spanning both academia and industry, Sarah brings practical insights to her teaching and research. Her experience includes programme management of tourism, leadership and management degrees, and leadership roles in customer service. She currently leads the H4 module, Business in Action and is a level leader. She maintains active memberships with key professional bodies, including Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy and the Chartered Management Institute.

Research interests

As an academic practitioner, Sarah is currently pursuing her PhD focusing on Small-Medium Family Business Resilience within the Hospitality Sector. This research builds upon her MSc in Strategic Project Management.

She is also interested in organisational behaviour, development and culture.
