Deputy Vice Chancellor

Tracey is Deputy Vice Chancellor (Resources) at Leeds Beckett University with strategic responsibility for the business operation of the University. This includes oversight of the finance, human resources, IT, student recruitment, strategic insight and the estate as well as internal and external communications services.

She is the current chair of the Leeds City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) as well as the Chair of the Go Higher West Yorkshire (GHWY) widening participation consortium of further education colleges and universities.

Educated at the University of Cambridge, Tracey started her senior career with the Royal Shakespeare Company before moving into the higher education sector in 2002. She was the University of Birmingham's first director of marketing and, subsequently, director of external relations at Sheffield Hallam University before joining Leeds Beckett in 2016.
