  1. High performance, pro coach sessions

    You will receive three high performance sessions (six hours per week), during term time while at Leeds Beckett University. These will be delivered by the Pro Coach coaches who have previously worked with aspiring and developing cricketers to move them forward in their game notably into county cricket.

  2. Focused development

    You'll receive progress interviews and reports each semester to monitor your performance and development. Goal setting and performance targets will be a key factor in remaining focused on your development path throughout the programme.

  3. Realise your potential

    You will learn game management and tactical awareness which can set you apart from your competition and be key assets to making the most of your potential.

  4. Develop match skills

    You will train and play with both red ball and white ball, indoor and outdoor, throughout the academic year to create the skills required to have success in every format of the game.

  5. Experience the Yorkshire leagues

    Experience life in the local Yorkshire Leagues in new and challenging conditions.

  6. Leadership skills

    You will learn from County Captains, Head Coaches and Heads of department within cricket, as well as how to get the most out of teammates and be part of a successful team unit.

  7. Become an accredited cricket coach

    While here you will have the opportunity to qualify as an ECB accredited coach as part of your programme. Please note that this may incur an additional cost.

  8. Detailed video analysis

    Our video analysis enables coaches to offer constructive and objective appraisal to improve your skills, develop decision making and improve technique.

  9. Yorkshire County Cricket Club

    You will receive a season-long Yorkshire County Cricket Club membership to watch Yorkshire play in all domestic formats during the season.

  10. Summer matches

    You will have the chance to play in matches during the summer against local opposition, other academic institutes and selected guest teams.

  11. Branded kit

    Branded training clothing is included as part of the programme.
