- With fees covered by your employer, you will have the opportunity to earn a full-time wage whilst also studying for your degree apprenticeship.

How to apply
Degree Apprenticeships are funded by employers, and therefore, to apply, you must first be employed in a relevant role with an employer who is willing to support your studies.
Visit our current opportunities page for details of degree apprenticeship vacancies. Alternatively, use the National Apprenticeships Service to browse apprenticeships by postcode.
You will need to discuss with your employer how they could support you on a degree apprenticeship, find out more. Once you have your employer’s support, please ask them to register their interest on our online form.
FAQS
Applications start with your employer completing the Expression of Interest Form on our website.  Your Employer will be taken through onboarding and contracting, including setting up Funding and agreeing their requirements for your chosen programme(s).
At this point, you will then be invited to complete an online application. Following approval by the Course Team and Admissions, you and your employer will be invited to attend a Training Plan Review Meeting and to sign the relevant Apprenticeship Agreements before being admitted to the university.

Help and support
Our Student Hubs are your first port of call for queries about student life and support. Located on both campuses, they are a good starting point if you're uncertain where to go for something. They can direct you to our specialist advice teams, making sure you get the assistance you need as soon as possible. Pop in or access the Student Hub by phone or online.

Once you're a degree apprentice with us, you can sign up for an online My Hub account to access all the usual Student Hub services, as well as managing any university-related appointments and events you might be signed up for. You can also access more than 300 career support tools and resources.
A problem shared is a problem halved so whatever you might be going through, we like to think we can help you with it. Our team is made up of counsellors, mental health professionals and chaplains who can support you with issues such as bereavement, relationships, stress and anxiety. They offer a range of appointments as well as an extensive website with self-help resources, including apps, videos, helplines, self-help guides and access to an online therapy tool, Silvercloud Health.

Our friendly team can offer confidential advice and guidance on disability related matters to help you during your studies. If you have a physical, long-term or mental health condition, sensory impairment to a specific learning difficulty (including dyslexia), our Disability Advice team will be your first point of contact to discuss your academic requirements, reasonable adjustments and how you can apply for a Disabled Students' Allowance.

Leeds Beckett University is committed to providing a safe environment for our degree apprentices. We have a designated safeguarding lead, safeguarding officers and points of contact who play a part in raising awareness of the university's Safeguarding Policy which sets out how to identify and report safeguarding issues and how they will be managed.
The university offers a number of opportunities for individuals who want to pursue a degree apprenticeship. Our degree apprenticeships are developed with businesses to suit their organisational needs and the university is dedicated to providing a high quality of training for those apprentices.
The university sub-contracts work undertaken as part of the delivery of apprenticeships in the limited circumstances set out in our Degree Apprenticeship Sub-Contracting Policy.
Leeds Beckett University aims to provide educational and support services of the highest quality to our degree apprentices. We acknowledge that at times degree apprentices may be dissatisfied with aspects of its provision.
This complaints procedure sets out how complaints can be raised, and how they will be addressed.
As a provider of higher and degree apprenticeships, the university seeks to resolve any risk to an apprentice's successful completion in a timely manner for the benefit of all concerned.
This policy sets out a standardised way in which Leeds Beckett University will address any identified risk or breach of apprenticeship requirements (or any other issue that is deemed to pose a risk to the successful completion of an apprentice's programme).
If you feel that you have in some way been disadvantaged during your time as a degree apprentice and this is reflected in your results then you may have grounds for an academic appeal.
