Sarah Barrow is a British diver who represented Great Britain at the highest level in both individual and synchronised 10 metre platform events. A two-time Olympian, she competed at the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, alongside a career that included consistent top finishes at World, European and Commonwealth level.
Sarah enjoyed significant success in synchronised diving with Tonia Couch, winning gold at the 2012 European Championships, the first European medal for British female divers in 74 years. She achieved European 10m individual gold in 2014, the first by a British woman in 87 years, and went on to compete at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games after securing her 12th British title. She also won Commonwealth silver in 2014, European silver in 2013, and achieved a fourth-place finish at the 2014 World Championships, the highest ever result for a British female diver at the time.
Sarah studied BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University, graduating in 2011. Following retirement, she has moved into sport development, working with Swim England in community and club development roles, and as a licensed diving coach tutor, continuing to support participation and performance pathways within the sport.
