Sustainability and Environmental Action

The Sustainability and Environmental Action research cluster addresses  ecological challenges through a social science theories and practices.

We explore how environmental issues intersect with questions of justice, governance, culture, and everyday practice. Our interdisciplinary work examines policies, grassroots movements, and socio-technical transitions to imagine and support more equitable and sustainable futures. Drawing on critical, participatory, and creative methods, the cluster fosters collaboration across disciplines and communities.

We aim to generate impactful research that not only advances academic knowledge but also informs meaningful environmental action at local, national, and global levels.
