Why take a class?

Fitness classes are a great way to improve your overall fitness and wellbeing, whether you want to lose weight, get stronger or improve your athletic fitness, we have a wide variety of classes to suit all ability levels and goals – all of our fitness classes are included in your membership for free!

Available classes

  1. Ashtanga & Yin Yoga Fusion

    A slow-paced style of yoga, incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with postures that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles. Advanced practitioners may stay in one posture for five minutes or more.

  2. Barbell

    Barbell is a strength club that provides a welcoming and supportive community for individuals of all abilities who are passionate about Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting or strongman. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just starting out, Barbell is a place where you can come to improve your strength, meet like-minded individuals, and be part of a thriving strength community.

  3. Body Bend

    The ultimate mobility class designed to help you move and feel better! This class combines elements of Yoga, Pilates, and gymnastics, as well as mobilisations and recovery modalities used by athletes to promote flexibility, range of motion, and recovery. Whether you are an athlete or just looking to move better in daily life, this class is suitable for all abilities.

  4. Body Blast

    This dynamic class combines a blend of strength training and metabolic conditioning to provide a complete workout! Expect to be swinging kettlebells, flowing with steel maces, performing bodyweight and plyometric movements as well as using a variety of cardiovascular ergometers.

  5. Body Burn

    The ultimate 30-minute interval training workout! Body Burn uses scientific principles and Myzone heart rate technology to give you individualized interval targets and training zones. This mixed mode class utilises a range of cardiovascular ergometers such as air bikes, ski erg, rowing machines and gym bikes to provide an efficient and effective way to boost your cardiovascular fitness.

  6. Body Fit - Conditioning

    A mixed modality training experience combining barbell lifting with metabolic conditioning, designed to enhance strength and fitness. You can expect elements of gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting and cardiovascular exercises.

    All conditioning sessions are suited to all abilities and will enable you to gain the confidence and technique to push your fitness potential.

  7. Body Fit - Weightlifting

    A strength class with a focus on Olympic weightlifting. The weightlifting sessions will be based on developing fundamental skill of Olympic weightlifting movements, involving the clean and snatch, which will be beneficial for the conditioning sessions.

  8. Hatha yoga

    A system of exercises using special apparatus, designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness.

  9. Junior S&C

    Our Junior Athlete Strength and Conditioning class is a fun and age-appropriate programme that focuses on teaching fundamental techniques for children training in any sport. Our coaches use engaging exercises to help kids develop strength, power, speed, agility, fitness and confidence, setting them on a path to athletic success.

  10. Spin (Studio Cycling)

    Indoor cycling, often called spinning, is a form of exercise with classes focusing on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity and recovery, and involves using a special stationary exercise bicycle with a weighted flywheel in a classroom setting.

  11. Vinyasa yoga

    Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. The difficulty of the class depends on your own experience, strength, and flexibility, but it is open to all levels of experience and ability.

  12. Zumba

    A fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training, alternating fast and slow rhythms to help improve cardiovascular fitness.

Book classes via your Leisure Hub account

Book classes

  1. All classes must be booked in advance with a valid membership and can be booked through your Leisure Hub account
  2. If you cannot attend your class please ensure you cancel via your Leisure Hub account
  3. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your class start to set up equipment and to check in with your instructor
  4. Please bring a towel and water with you to all classes, there are lockers in the changing rooms to keep your belongings. These require a padlock so please remember to bring one, or you can buy one at reception
  5. Please ensure you wear appropriate fitness attire including trainers
  6. If you require any further assistance please speak to a member of our reception team
