About Emma Henderson
Emma is a qualified solicitor and her area of practice was family and child law. She left practice in 2014 and has since taught as a part-time law lecturer here at Leeds Beckett and now teaches as a full-time law lecturer teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Emma specialised in public law children proceedings when in practice. She spent much of her time in court as an advocate for parents and children in those proceedings, often dealing with very vulnerable clients, handling complex medical information and working in response to emergency situations.
