About

Sajida Manzoor is a Senior Lecturer and Registered Dietitian in the School of Applied and Clinical Sciences.

Sajida has completed her first degree in Human Biology and Leeds Metropolitan University following this, Sajida completed her PG Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2005 and an MSC in Advanced Nutrition in 2012. She was appointed as a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University in 2015 after 10 years in clinical practice and management role.

Sajida is registered with the Health care Professions Council and a member of the British Dietetic Association. She is currently undertaking a senior fellow HEA.

Research interests

Sajida's research interest are focussed on Obesity, Bariatric surgery and Diabetes. MSC research project was based on the expectations of weight loss in post bariatric surgery individuals.

Current teaching

Sajida contributes to UG/ PG and MSC taught provision and supervises research projects in Nutrition and Dietetics and UG Nutrition Courses.
