Support for existing distance learning courses
Page last updated:
Courses developed by the former Distance Learning Unit are now managed by the course teams, providing module leaders with full ownership and responsibility. The Educational Enhancement Unit (EEU) supports these distance learning course teams with advice and guidance, module rollovers (by prior arrangement) and maintenance of bespoke resources.
If you require help or guidance, please see the following:
- The EEU have created a checklist to guide module leaders in editing and updating distance learning modules in MyBeckett Ultra. Each course team will be provided with a link to a version specific to their module content and structure. A generic Module checklist is available for reference
- The Digital Learning Service is available if you need any assistance or have any questions about MyBeckett Ultra (including editing content, setting up submission boxes and working with Grade Centre)
- If you need help with a reading list, please contact your Academic Librarian
- Guidance is available on for designing and developing teaching content and Designing learning activities and feedback mechanisms
- If you have taken over delivery of an existing distance learning module, you may also find the guidance on The role of the tutor and Communication and community building helpful
